Open current visualization

  1. Press button "switch to current visualization" - icon with graph and name of opened visualization on the left side of the top menu

Start new visualization

  1. Save all changes in current visualization

  2. Go to search page - click on Search icon in Left menu (magnifier icon)

  3. Enter search string into search field

  4. Select elements:

    • select 1 element: click on record

    • select multiple elements: hold CTRL and click on records

    • select multiple elements as a area: click on the first record in area, then hold SHIFT and click on the last record in area. All elements in this area will be selected

  5. Press button "New visualization"

  6. Screen with visualization is opened and all selected elements are shown

Add elements into current visualization

  1. Suppose there is a visualization with some elements

  2. Go to search page - click on Search icon in Left menu (magnifier icon)

    • Note: your open visualization will be saved in background and you can always go back by clicking the Graphlytic icon in left top corner so you don't need to worry about loosing it.

Keyboard shortcuts

  • CTRL( ⌘) + A : select all elements in visualization

  • CTRL( ⌘) + F : open search tab in visualization and get focus on search field so you start typing search string

  • CTRL( ⌘) + S : save visualization

  • CTRL( ⌘) + UP_ARROW : horizontal alignment of selected nodes

1.Workspace

Contains elements from database which are visualized as graph. You can interactively manipulate with elements (for example moving them). See Workspace.

2.Zoom panel

You can use it to zoom or center the view. See Zoom panel.

3.Tools panel

You can use them to manipulate elements in graph: move them, layout them. See Tools panel.

4.Control panel

You can use them to search in elements, to show all attributes of elements, configure style of visualization. See Control panel.
